Hi, I'm Anne-Sophie Debroye, originally from Dijon in Burgundy, living in the UK for the last 22 years.

I tutor adults who want to be better at French, maybe because they love visiting France, need to improve for their career, or maybe because they own a home there.

I tutor children in preparation for both their A levels and GCSEs.

And I work for schools who need supply cover, added hours or additional conversational French for their pupils.

ADULTS

The adults I have worked with over the last few years have mainly been french home owners wanting to improve their spoken French for when they are using their homes in France.

That often leads to translation and written paperwork to help with the running of their homes, which I am also happy to do.

As well, I have worked with business people who need to be able to converse in French and some people who just want to be better at speaking and understanding when they are in France.

My students vary from fully covering their syllabus as part of the revision process to working purely on the conversational side in preparation for their oral exams.

I work at both GCSE and A Level, and my experience working in schools ensures I know how to prepare the children for their exams.

My experience includes working as the full time French language teacher at Dunottar School in Reigate teaching year 7 through to year 13.

I have also been in post at Micklefield School in Reigate (year 6) as the supply cover, and currently I am working at a primary school in Kent as supply cover (years 1-6), so I have experience at all four key stage levels.

I work to make sure the lessons are enjoyable for all the children as this helps them to retain the learning and enjoy coming back for more.
